Hall of Fame

Christopher Yarwood was inducted into the Glenrothes CC Hall of Fame in 2015.

Chris' induction to the Hall of Fame is thoroughly deserved; and not for what the stats or club the records will tell you.

Chris joined the club in 1995, and has simply enjoyed his cricket ever since, playing in whatever side and in whatever role he was selected. The definition of a club man, he's always first to volunteer to help out and attends every social event and club night he can.

This induction is very much about the stuff that goes on behind the scenes, the hours on the roller, endless runs up and down with the mover, the measuring and painting up the crease markings and the countless other jobs and tasks that happen in the lead up to game time on a Saturday.

I’m sure that his fellow Hall of Famer, John Bell would agree that without the always willing assistance and commitment shown by this person, we simply would not have a pitch to play on.

A regular Benidorm tourist with a mind boggling capacity to put away the gin and tonics.
