MEMBERSHIP

Membership Categories, Rates and Match Fees

The membership year runs from the AGM in each year and all memberships shall commence from that date and membership (with the exception of Life membership) shall expire the day before the following year's AGM.

Memberships are split into two distinct categories: Playing and Non Playing (Social)

All categories and rates apply from 28th October 2007.

  • Non-playing Honorary Life Member
    • Membership Rate: nil
    • A life member has to be proposed and elected by the general committee of the club.
  • Senior Playing Member
    • Membership Rate: £25 per year
    • Match fees: £5 per game
  • Youth/Junior Playing Member

The following under age players [as defined by ESCA rules i.e. under the specified age by 1 September of the season concerned] shall pay the following annual fees

  • Anyone under 17 years of age = £5
  • Individual Social Member
    • Membership Rate: £5.

Q. What Categories of Membership are available?

A. There are two basic types of membership. Playing and Non Playing (Social) membership. If you wish to play cricket or take part in any training, indoor or outdoors then you should have a playing membership. This includes juniors. If you wish to simply enjoy the social side of the club then you should have a Social Membership

Q. What methods are available for payment?

A. There are many ways in which membership fees can be paid. Cash or cheque made payable to Glenrothes Cricket Club to be passed to club treasurer. Also we can now accept online payments through the website via papal Click Here

Q. What Will I Get in Return for my Social Membership?

A. As a member you will receive preferential treatment for events that are ticketed (but obviously not guarantee you a ticket).

Q. What is the policy on Children within the Club?

A. We welcome children within the club. There are safety issues we need to cover, so running around and loud behaviour should be discouraged.

Q. What is the policy on Smoking?

A. The club has a strict no smoking policy, and anyone wishing to smoke should do so outside the pavilion area. Please dispose of your cigarette ends appropriately.
