Chris, 22, who joined Glenrothes CC from the Durham CCC Academy in 2011 achieved the number one batting ranking for runs scored in our ESCA Division 1 Championship success last season.
Chris commented, "I'm absolutely buzzing about returning to play for Glenrothes in the CSL and Scottish Cup; we all worked so hard for promotion in 2012 and I'm delighted to be coming back to try and continue where we left off in September. I had a few things to sort out work-wise with Cluny Clays for the 2013 golf season, and now that I have done so I was able to call the club today and let them know I'd be reporting back for pre-season training."
Club Chairman Eddie Gibbs stated, "Chris' performances last season were testament to the quality of player he is, the 102 Not Out he scored at Grange CC last season when everyone else struggled was genuinely something to behold, nobody that witnessed it will forget it in a hurry."
"Chris as much as anyone else earned Glenrothes the right to play CSL cricket and I'm delighted he's been able to resolve his work situation to the extent that he'll now be able to return for the 2013 season".
