Chris Mohale Joins Glens For 2017
The club are delighted to announce that Chris Mohale will join the club for the 2017 season after signing on as our Overseas Amateur.
Age 21 from Johannesburg, Chris has played representative cricket with Gauteng U19s and worked his way through the Gauteng Cricket Academy.
He came to the attention of Glenrothes by way of his club coach and former Glens player Tiro Madiseng who commented; “Chris Mohale is an enthusiastic player who is always ready to work hard and learn, he is going to be great addition to Glenrothes; especially on the spin bowling side of things and will be a devastating middle order batsman to opponents”.
Chris Mohale stated: “Like many young cricketers I have always hoped for an opportunity to test myself outside of South Africa. I am delighted to be hooking up with Glenrothes CC and have heard some great stories from Tiro Madiseng on what to expect”.
Subject to international clearance Chris will arrive in April ahead of the 2017 season.
