It is with regret that Darren Lewis has decided to resign with immediate effect.

The committee has decided to appoint Greig Hopcroft until the end of the season.

The committee would like to thank Darren for his service as captain, certainly not an easy task.

Darren has confirmed he will continue to play and support the new captain.

Indoor Nets
These have been confirmed at Kinross High School beginning on Sunday 14th February 2009 from 8.30am-10.30am. Unfortunately this was the only available 2 hour slot that Kinross had available, I do hope it doesn’t affect attendances at by all accounts a fantastic facility. Cost will be £4 per session, Cammy will collect money.

Annual Smoker
Reminder this has been organised for Saturday 6th March at Freuchie, Cammy has had very little feedback regarding the bus. If you require this it is imperative you let him know ASAP.

Race Night
10th April in the Clansman, race sheets will be given out shortly (format also to be confirmed ASAP), reminder that wifes, girlfriends, aunties, uncles, mums, dads, friends etc etc etc etc are ALL very welcome to come along to what will be an excellent night. We are looking for prize donations as well as race sheets being sold en mass.

Club Membership
Reminder that memberships are due. £25 for the year and this should be paid by 1st May. Once again Cammy is happy to take part-payments from people anytime, please pay this as quickly as possible.

GCC Committee

2 social events have been arranged for the coming months, so be sure to add these to your diaries so you remember to attend!!

1) Annual Smoker Night - at Freuchie Cricket Club on Saturday 6th March. As per usual the bus is available @ £5 per person, however anyone wishing the bus MUST let Cammy Ross know ASAP to allow him to confirm the booking.

2) Annual Race Night - upstairs at the Clansman in Leslie on Saturday 10th April. Race sheets will be handed out to all members shortly and these are a MUST sell from each member. This event is the clubs main fundraising event for the year and we need to make this as big as we can.

A snooker night was held on 29th December 2009 at Styx in Kirkcaldy.

Cammy Ross was the winner on the night and pictures are available in the Photo Galleries section.

Just to confirm that 5-a-side football will go ahead starting 22nd November. The Glenwood High School hall has been booked every sunday 9-10am until the end of march.

Cost will be £3.00 per person.

Also all dates are on the cricket club website and I would ask you to add your availabilities asap please as per saturday cricket, so we can see numbers.

The 2009 presentation dinner will take place at the Gilvenbank Hotel in Glenrothes on Saturday 14th November 2009, 7pm.

There will be a 3-course meal followed by the presentation of prizes and disco.

Tickets are now available and are available on a 1st come 1st served basis, numbers are limited.

Tickets cost £15 per adult and £7.50 per child
