Having skippered a few games towards the end of the 2014 season the club are delighted to announce that promising youngster Graham Dodds Jnr will be the full-time captain for Forth Cricket Union matches next season.

The FCU is a 30 over format played locally on various Sunday's throughout the season.

Upon being appointed Graham commented; "I am extremely happy to been appointed captain of the FCU XI and can't wait to get started. I enjoyed doing the role for a couple of games last season and am keen to learn as much as possible about cricket captaincy. The FCU is an enjoyable league and is will be fantastic to see how those new to game last season continue their development in 2015."

Club Chairman Alasdair Sim added; "One of the special talents in the club, at just 16, Graham 'Doddsy' Dodds aka "Junior" or "DJ" has matured so much in the past year; that I can see some great performances ahead for the young man. Like his Dad Graham Snr, 'Doddsy' has been involved in many aspects in the running of the club in the past year. We are delighted to announce that Jnr will lead out our Sunday Forth Cricket Union side against some pretty strong opposition. We wish Doddsy and his team a successful campaign ahead."
