Head Coach Graeme Beghin who has attained all required coaching badges, PVG, Child Protection and First Aid certification will manage the camp.
In the UK off-season Graeme works with children at the Cape Town School of Excellence and has a proven track record of implementing cricket camps during school holidays.
The Summer Camp will run daily in two blocks, with future dates to be added based on participation:
Monday 30th June > Thursday 3rd July
Monday 14th July > Thursday 17th July
A limited number of places are available on a first come first served basis, the camp will be split into two groups:
For Children Aged 5 to 9
- Drop-off children between 8.30am & 9am
- Collect children at 12 noon
- £60 per 4 days

- Drop-off children between 8.30am & 9am
- Collect children at 5pm
- £100 per 4 days

Children should be dropped off at Gilvenbank Park in Glenrothes between 8.30am - 9am, collect 5pm - 5.30pm. Indoor facilities will be available to cope with inclement cold or wet weather.
Our full timetable will be available soon but activities will include:
* Basics of Batting – How to hold the bat, stance and back lift.
* Basics of Bowling – Grip and basic bowling action.
* Cricket General Knowledge
* Introduction to Cricket Equipment – Trying on and using various kit. Maintaining and selecting the correct equipment.
* Throwing Technique – Underarm and Overarm.
* Games – KWIK Cricket, Catching Challenge, Throwing Challenge, Stump Demolition.
* ABC'S – Agility, Balance, Co-ordination and Speed
* Nutrition - What athletes need to eat/drink.
* Mental – Dealing with competition, winning and losing etc.
Please Note – Drinks will be provided throughout the camp but children should bring a packed lunch with them.
