After 6 seasons with the Glens batsman and coach Chris Greaves has decided to leave the club. Since moving to Scotland from South Africa Chris played a pivotal part in multiple 1st XI promotions, cup successes and went on to represent Highlanders, MCC and most recently Scotland A.

Club Chairman Kenny Crichton commented; “Chris had another good season personally with the bat, following his incredible 1000+ league run season to help us reach the Premier League in 2015. All at the club would put on record our thanks to Chris for all he has achieved with the Glens and wish him well at whichever club he moves on to for next season”.

Chris stated, “This decision wasn’t easy but I feel it’s the right time for me to move on and push my game in the right direction. My time at Glenrothes is filled with great memories and what we achieved together has been incredible; I thank the club for all the support they offered me during this period. I wish all at Glens the best for the future and I will always be a friend of the club”.
