South African spin bowling all rounder to hook up with Glenrothes this month ahead of new Premier League season.

I cannot wait to take these first steps in my overseas cricket career.

The club is delighted to announce that Keegan Rawling (19) will join us this month as an overseas amateur.

Keegan has just completed his domestic season in the Durban Premier League with his club Chatsworth United. With the bat he averaged over 30 in both T20 and 50 over cricket and whilst mainly keeping wicket he did still muster up a few overs of off-spin taking 11 wickets at an economy of 3.37.

Upon signing for the Glens, Keegan commented; "Playing first class and potentially professional cricket has always been my dream and I cannot wait to take these first steps in my overseas cricket career."

"Since my first dealings with Glenrothes they have been fantastic and nothing but professional, prompt and efficient! They have gone out of their way to assist wherever possible and have already made me feel welcome. I could not ask or want for anything more in a club and I cannot wait to join the awesome Glens family and get what we all hope will be another successful cricket season for the club under way."

Club Chairman Kenny Crichton added; "Keegan immediately struck as a hard working young chap with a determination to succeed. His cricketing skill-set is just what we needed for team balance and we look forward to meeting him in person when he arrives in Scotland later this month".

Keegan is coming in place of Gareth Sanders who was unable to complete his move to GCC due to Visa issues.
