Kenny, an opening bowler who played for Scotland at youth level is an exciting addition to our playing squad for the 2012 season. Upon confirming the move Kenny commented, "I am delighted to be joining Glenrothes CC and really looking forward to this new challenge. I have made a lot friends at Freuchie CC in my time there and still live in the village, so I took my time and thought long and hard before deciding upon this switch. Glenrothes CC have some exciting plans for the future and the chance to play a part in that was very tempting; I'm keen to get started."

Glenrothes CC Chairman Eddie Gibbs added, "We are really pleased that Kenny has decided to be make the short move down the A92 to Glenrothes CC. From speaking with Kenny in recent weeks I know it wasn't an easy decision for him to leave Freuchie CC and naturally we are chuffed to bits that he's decided to join us. In addition to Guy Robinson joining us recently from Largo CC things are starting to look really promising for the new season".
