Obviously with his imminent departure to Australia Ben won't be able to work with the juniors through their 2014/15 Autumn/Winter programme at the Glenrothes Indoor Cricket Centre but we're sure once he returns he'll have some great new ideas for the kids and his fellow coaches.

Upon his new appointment Ben commented, "I'd like to thank Glenrothes Cricket Club for giving me the opportunity to coach the Gladiators next season. I am fortunate to have been coached by some very good coaches at regional, academy and Scotland levels and hopefully with the experience I'll gain in Australia working with some of the very best coaches in the world; this can all be brought back next season for the benefit of all at the club".

"I'll look forward to popping along to see the Gladiators and my fellow coaches for their first indoor session before I depart".

The Gladiators 2014/15 Autumn/Winter programme commences on Tuesday 30th September from 6pm until 7.30pm at the Glenrothes Indoor Cricket Centre, with sessions taking place every other week until outdoor sessions restart next April. New players (age 4+) are welcome to attend their first 2 Gladiators sessions completely free.
