Jon who played Saturday cricket last season for Perth Doo'cot CC and on Sunday's with Glendelvine CC has been training with GCC and former Scotland keeper Alec Davies at our Indoor Centre throughout the Winter and has now made the decision to switch to the Glens for 2015.

Those in our SPCU XI may well recall Jon scoring 55 against us for Glendelvine last season, so it's good to see he has a nice average to maintain at Gilvenbank Park.

Jon commented; "I've really enjoyed my training with Alec Davies and also with the rest of the squad at pre-season training. I'm looking forward to getting started behind the stumps for Glenrothes in a couple of months time".
