He was introduced the Scottish cricket scene in 2014 at Freuchie CC where his efforts reaped the reward of a 50 wicket season in the ESCA Championship, including a demolition job on our own top order at Gilvenbank in a match GCC eventually still won by 126 runs.

Rizwan is currently playing First Class cricket in Pakistan with the Rawalpindi Rams and you can follow his progress on Cricinfo. He is closing in on 300 First Class wickets with a best of 7/39.

Subject to international clearance Rizwan will arrive back in Scotland in April 2015 to join the GCC squad and take on coaching responsibilities ahead of the new season.
