M.J Mitchley Married to Lorraine for 10 years 2 great kids Kerin & Caitlin Both 3 years old, Have worked for Tullis Russell Paper makers as a shift team leader for 13 years. I love a beer now and then and when the mood takes me i enjoy a nice red wine.

Played with the Colts in 1982, then didnt play for a few years. Re-joined the club in 1999 and have been ever present ever since. 2nd XI Capt for 4 years and was Honorary President for 2 years , before that I was Honorary Secretary for 5 years. I am a RH batsman ( some say slogger!!) Right Arm Medium Pace bowler and often called on to keep wicket ! Hardest job of all my duties is trying to keep Andy Muir's moaning to a minimum ( on and off the pitch!!)

Most memorable game: Small Clubs Cup Semi against Helensburgh, we won off last ball.  OR  Watsonians away 2009 when I scored 1st ton for the club.

A perennial team player and committed tourist- low to even lower order RH batsman with flashes of ocassional cameos when the need arises. Claims to be a RH bowler, but indications from the nets can't confirm this... Likes a run about in the field though, and particularly enjoys the banter before during and after the game on a Saturday - beats a trip to the shops anyday! Ally has the dubious honour of captaining the Eccentic Flamingoes, who play very social midweek 20/20 in Edinburgh.
