Glenrothes hosted Leith Beige on Sunday.
Skipper Craig Gould won the toss and elected to field first.
The opening bowlers Daniel Graveling and Andy McAulay immediately set about the Leith batsmen and in a 10 over spell had ripped the heart out of the Leith batting line up.
Both bowlers took 3 wickets apiece for 7 and 10 runs respectively and alongside a run out brought about by suicidal running and the deadly arm of Awais Ali, Leith were 17 for 7 after 10 overs.
Gould replaced both bowlers bring in Awais Ali and Darren Palmer on and the Leith scoring rate increased thanks to 11 wides between the bowlers !
Awais took 2 wickets in his 3 overs, and Malcolm Neil came on for a cameo 1 over wicket maiden to end the Leith innings on 33.
Andy Muir and Muhammed Talha opened for Glens and knocked off the required runs in 6.1 overs, Andy scoring 22 and Talha 9.
In the Field, Nick Diston stood in as wicket keeper and performed well, taking a catch from McAulay and Eddie Gibbs and Brett Wardle didn't let anything past them. In fact Sicknote is a bit of a lucky charm for the 3s , having been selected 3 times and been down to bat at number 3 on all 3 occasions and has never lifted his bat in anger as yet.
Glens travel to take on bottom side Watsonians next week and a win coupled with anything other than a win for Holy Cross 3s will see them crowned Div 8 Champions.
