Glens won the toss and choose to bat . With many changes in the team this was going to be a tough day and so it proved.Dalgety bowling a really good line and length runs were hard to get.Yarwood first to fall caught behind in came old boy Craig Walker and looked like had never been away.Picksly quickly took another 4 wkts in a good spell of bowling and we were struggling at 50 for 5 at drinks.A dogged innings from captain Muir of 28 not out and some support from Walker, Morris and C Muir saw Glens close on 118.
With a low total to defend Glens needed some quick wkts and they got them with 5 wkts falling for only 35 runs.Dalgety dug in at this stage but still lost more wkts now 8 down and 80 on the board. With Morris , Salt, and C Muir finished there spells Muir turned to part-time bowler Walker who promptly took the last two wkts with a mixture of line and length. So a great win and a great team effort everyone playing a part, Morris Salt and C Muir in particular taking 7 wkts between them for only 49 runs.
