Tale of 2 halves

Glens 3 collapse from a strong positon to end up losing
Well this really was a tale of 2 halves.
In the field glens 3s probably had the best afternoon yet.
With the bat, bar a couple of exceptions was the worst team performance yet.
Some real strong positives, glens in the field were sharp, tight on the singles no easy runs. Bowling was well, and after a small reminder in my ear from Ash Tosh that he can bowl, he certainly didn't let us down with great bowling to get his 5fer. Jay also bowling well along with everyone really.
The batting was difficult to take after such a strong performance. Having said that things started brightly with Murray and Simon getting us off to a good start losing the first wicket just shy of 50. Then at this stage the collapse begun. With the exception of Joe who hung about well, and snook with a quick cameo at the end, no-one had a good day with the bat. Collapsing from near enough 50 for no loss to 93 all out.
It was disappointing that with such a strong bowling and fielding performance we could not celebrate a 2nd win in 2. But time to forget about it and move on to the next match looking for another win.
