Following a turbulent 2018, everyone associated with Glenrothes CC was keen to see the club return to a firm footing, with realigned objectives; for 2019.
With this in mind the clubs AGM took place on Sunday, with those in attendance pleased with the progress the club was able to make both on and off the field.

The new appointments came on the back of a couple of notable departures, and the club would like to place on record our thanks to stelar efforts of Linda Penman; on the administration side over the past 4 years.
Our Gladiators, both in terms of junior cricket and multi-sport; continued to thrive throughout 2019. Alas, following several years of incredible dedication and commitment; both Graham and Shirley Dodds announced that this year was to be their last at the helm. Again the club place on record our thanks for their fantastic achievements. Nic Krzyzanowski has taken on the new role of Director of Junior Cricket and plans for both junior cricket and multi-sport will be announced in due course.
The new pavilion was almost certainly the highlight of 2019, the overall efforts of all the club to make this happen are much appreciated; and the AGM offered a vote of thanks to Kenny Crichton for his unheralded determination to see the project through to fruition. The building is now being used as per initial intentions by the Gilvenbank Community Sports Hub; with Glenrothes CC in the Summer and Glenrothes Athletic FC during the football season. There are also community uses underway, with a local Beavers group now based at the facility.
The clubs financial position is also now very stable, following significant investment in facilities made over the previous few years; following our relocation from Riverside to Gilvenbank back in 2013.
