Due to the waterlogged outfield and no likelihood of improvement over the week ahead, we will have to postpone our works day this weekend - some informal work will still take place over the weekend so if you are interested in helping then get in touch, otherwise keep an eye out for the new date to be announced soon.

We will be holding a works day on Saturday 1st April from 10am.

We have some essential work to get done such as ground preparations, artificial wickets cleaned up and repaired, garage tidy up and other key tasks.

We have already done some repair work to our practice nets following a park users note of concern about netting falling down (actually ripped down) and posing a risk to wildlife, but we need to do more work to strengthen the netting further.

This includes continuing our wider work to help make Gilvenbank Park welcoming to all park users so may include some litter-picking for those looking for a lighter activity.

We need as many people there as possible to share the workload and get all the essential work progressed quickly. So bring your gardening gloves, weeding tools, lawn edge cutters, brushes and any other tools you think you might need to help.

Bring your kit and you may even get a wee outdoor training session afterwards too!
