Glenrothes Cricket Club is celebrating a major boost to its facilities thanks to the generous support of AMG Accountants, who have partnered with the club through a matched‑funding sponsorship to help purchase brand‑new mobile pitch covers.

The investment comes at the perfect time, with the recent spell of relentless rain making pitch protection more important than ever. The new covers will help maintain a higher standard of playing surface throughout the season, and ensure matches can go ahead with fewer weather‑related disruptions.

A huge thank‑you goes to Qasim Ahmad, Director of AMG Accountants and 1st XI Captain at Glenrothes CC, whose generosity made this project possible. His contribution, combined with the efforts of the club’s players, supporters, and wider community, allowed the fundraising target to be met and enable such a significant investment.
