CSL debutant Darren Bremner took the new ball and bowled with some good control whilst managing to swing and bounce the ball well.
Jordan Davidson complete with bright green trainers was the pick of the Glenrothes bowlers. He bowled 11 straight overs taking 5 wickets for 32 runs, and again he bowled with good pace and accuracy. Ian Dale was close behind managing to take 4 wickets for only 27 runs in his 8 over spell.
Glens were set a total of 141 to win the match.
In reply opening pair Greig Hopcroft and Chris Greaves got off to a fantastic start scoring 73 runs from the first 12 overs, however it was at this point when Greaves (38) was bowled that the runs slowed a little. Hopcroft (32) was next to go with the score on 90. The runs slowly gathered over the next few overs and Glenrothes got their victory target with 8 overs to spare, a good 10 points and back to winning ways.
