Greaves and Reddy lead the way in 4th league win in a row.

Glenrothes were back to winning ways on Saturday having lost during the week in the murgitroyd to Stirling.

Rain was around from the start and it was agreed it would be a late start and the match reduced to 45 overs. Glenrothes batted first and got off to a shaky start with Ben out for 0 and soon followed by Fred for 8. Robbie Wright joined Chris at the crease and they started to build the innings back together, taking singles everywhere it soon started to pick up until Robbie was bowled for 19 with the score on 54. Vasu then came in and the pair batted carefully, once both in they soon started to take it to the Holy Cross attack hitting boundarys left, right and centre! Vasu Reddy was first to reach 3 figures soon followed by Chris and both finished on 108* with the team scoring 260/3 2 truly great innings which saved the GCC innings from being in trouble.

bowling and GCC got off to a good start with Kenny taking 2 wickets in 2 balls to leave Holy Cross 18/2 the 2 new batsman started to attack GCC knowing the rain was coming and got up to 102/2 of 21 overs when the rain came, according to the rain calculator this had Holy Cross winning by 6 runs, with no covers in sight(despite being in the league rules) it wasn't looking too good and as if the boys were about to record their first league loss of the season. Thankfully the rain fell away and GCC got back out, and Rizwan was the man to make the breakthrough taking 2 quick wickets. Vasu then came on to bowl and kept it tight with Fred on at the other end who bowled a 3 over spell for 2/4. Rizwan came back on to bowl the last over which was at 8.10 and picked up another 2 wickets to finish with 4/21. Holy Cross finishing 162/9 so in the end a convincing win for GCC.
