Edinburgh CC won the toss and batted first, GCC took wickets from the start and at regular intervals both openers getting 2 wickets Crichton with 2/20 and Rizwan with 2/6 Fred Culley also picked up a wicket but the star of the show was Scott Lucas who picked up 4/9 off 6 overs all 4 being clean bowled. The last wicket as a run out by Fraser Gosse with Edinburgh being 69 all out in 22 overs.

Teas were skipped and the GCC openers Greves and Hudson went straight out to bat, unfortunately it wasn't the best of competitive starts for Hudson was was out bowled for 7. Fred was next in and stuck about for a bit but was also bowled for 7. Ben Wilkinson came in at 4 and took it too the Edinburgh attack smashing the bowling round the park in a quickfire 24, with only 3 needed though he was clean bowled trying to leave a ball. Fraser Gosse came in next but it was Chris Greaves who hit the runs skying one straight up but thankfully The Edinburgh CC captain dropped the catch and the batsman ran through for the winning run. Greaves 27*.
