Glenrothes make it 11 from 11 with emphatic win at Fettes College.

Glenrothes were asked to bowl first and the opening pair of Robbie Wright and Rizwan Akbar kept it tight from the start and it was Robbie who took the first wicket clean bowling the Grange 2s opener. After a short spell from Rizwan, Fred Culley was next on and picked up a wicket early on to leave Grange 22/2, a partnership soon formed and they started to score quickly with Scott Lucas and Jordan Davidson coming on and bowling well but going wicketless on the quick grange outfield and with some poor fielding at times. At The drinks Grange were 94/2 and after a quick drink and chat from Captain and coach Glenrothes went back out and started well with Rizwan coming back on and picking up his first wicket clean bowling the number 3 batsman for 38. the new man in was then ran out for 5 by Rizwan followed by Wright(2/31) coming back on and bowling the number 6 batsman to leave Grange 139/5. Greaves(1/21) then picked up his first wicket getting the in form number 4 batsman for a well earned 54 although he did ride his luck with a few drop catches. a small partnership started to form but the experienced Vasu Reddy(2/34) soon broke it and picked up another wicket before Rizwan(3/34) got his last wicket to leave Grange 191 all out.

Chris Greaves and Fred Culley went out and were very watchful to start with but kept the scoreboard ticking along nicely knowing the total needed. they were going along great taking singles everywhere until unfortunately Greaves was bowled for 47 with the score on 87 from 22 overs. Wright then came in to join Culley and they ticked along nicely running a lot of singles to fielders and putting away the bad ball. Culley soon passed his first fifty for GCC with a loud cheer from the GCC players. Wright now looked to go at it with intent scoring very quickly and soon catching up with Culley getting to his first fifty of the season. The score now 175/1 Culley 66* Wright 50*. the pair then cruised to the needed total with Culley hitting an array of boundarys in the last few overs to finish on a well earned 81*
