GCC skipper Kenny Crichton lost the toss as the home side chose to bat first on a soft and green wicket.

Meigle managed to muster 73 runs before being bowled out. Robbie Wright and Fred Culley the pick of the bowlers.

GCC got the runs in just 10 overs for the loss of 5 wickets after an early scare of Chris Greaves caught with the score on 11. Some big hits from Vasu Reddy and Keegan Rawling with an well needed innings from Roy.
