Glenrothes welcomed fellow Fifers Broomhall Cricket Club to Gilvenbank Park today for the first actual completed league match of the season!
But we really wish it hadn't been completed as it turned out to be a very poor display from the Glens.
Broomhall had the pink ball hooping about excessively but it was an excellent spell by Ramsay (4 for 29) that really was worthy.
For Glens, it was too many batters playing aggressive shots and not biding their time, but it was fantastic to see youngster Muhammad Tayyiub top-scoring for 23 showing how patience and timing is key!
Thanks to Broomhall for their positivity, and we'll catch you again at the Cairns later in the season!
