Glenrothes' 2023 league season in the Breedon Strathmore and Perthshire Cricket Union (SPCU) Division 2 came to an end yesterday - but a positive end with a win against Dundee HSFP 2s

The High batted first and were bowled out for 70, with wickets shared across pretty much all the bowlers - Bilmal Nalupurrakal Balan leading the way as opener with 3 for 10 from 6 overs.

An early wicket gave the home team hope, but debutant James Slingsby batted well to finish 25 not out and help Glens chase down the runs for the loss of two wickets in the 14th over.

With Kinloch 2s winning their game to secure the title, Glenrothes finished second with a potential promotion spot to be confirmed - here's hoping!
