Glenrothes won a high-scoring game at Largo on Wednesday evening, in the first round of fixtures of the SPCU T20 Trophy.

A fast start by Sufyan Ahmed (46 in 23 balls) was backed up by scores of 20 or more by four other batters, including young Wahab Tawheedi.

Largo with their powerful batting line-up will have been confident of chasing the runs down, but two early wickets to young Ben Krzyzanowski put them under pressure and two to Mayank Sautiyal mid-innings kept it that way. An excellent half century for Paul Cusick wasn't enough for Largo in the end.
