The Glens had a shocker of a game as they lost to Murrayfield DAFS after bowling them out for what seemed a low total of 74 runs. The Glens had worked really hard in the field to limit DAFS and Jordan Davidson was the pick of the bowlers with 4-18-7 a seasons best for high flying Glens.
After an early tea, the Glens took to the field to try knock off the small target. The Glens lost early wickets and for the first time this season looked in real trouble. With the Glens at 41/8 Jordan Davidson and Cameron Ross supplied some hope by picking up runs all over the field. Hope was short lives though as Ross was caught one handed at mid-on for a useful 10 runs. Shortly after the Glens were dismissed for only 59 runs, and had to face the first loss of the season as Murrayfield DAFS came out winners by 15runs.
A good chat after the game pulled heads up and the team face Musselburgh CC next Saturday still focused on winning the ESCA Championship.
