In a match reduced to 30 overs at St Modans request to help with them being short of a full team, Glenrothes secured a hard-thought win last Saturday.
St Modans batted first and were soon one down as Stephen Mould was dismissed cheaply, thanks to the combination of Rahman Tawheedi and Ben Anderson as keeper.
The younger Tawheedi, Wahab, was the make the next breakthrough with one of his trademark run-outs and despite a number of very close calls that was to be last of the wickets for the Glens.
Opener Malcolm Sutherland batted through for an excellent 78* and supported well by Alan Ford with 27* as St Modans posted 145 for 2.
Glens saw an early retiral of Dave Snook for 8, but all of the top order batters following him made solid starts and gaining double-digit scores to keep the scoreboard ticking over.
But with a number of wickets falling, it was to be youngsters Wahab Tawheedi (44) and Joe Myles (22*) to be the match-winners as they took Glens to the win 6 wickets down with around 3 overs to go.
Another excellent win for the 2nd XI, doing the club proud!
