Hall of Fame

Ian Dale was inducted into the Glenrothes CC Hall of Fame in 2014.


Chippy as he is affectionaly known joined the club in 1983, and has captained the club on 4 occasions, one of these brining an ESCA Division 1 Championship in 2012.

One of the best batsmen the club has ever produced, scoring 7757 1st XI runs at an average of 26.7, and a high score of 117 not out.

He has also shown some skills with the ball, taking 118 first XI wickets and an average of 26.3.

Although "Father Time" marches on for us all, he has still very much "Got It", and in just 15 innings for the 2nd XI since 2011, he has already scored 666 runs at an average of 51.2 with a couple of centuries and a high score of 200.
